Oklahoma 2024 DL Target Takes Shot At Longhorns On Twitter

The Texas Longhorns will likely remember class of 2024 defensive lineman David Stone for all the wrong reasons.
In this story:

If it were done on the football field, it would have been a 15-yard personal foul, but there aren't exactly penalties that can be doled out for Twitter beef.

Top 2024 defensive lineman target the Oklahoma Sooners, David Stone, took to Twitter Monday afternoon, tweeting out the emoji pairing that indicates the "Horn Down" symbol, which people use as an insult to the Texas Longhorns' "Hook 'em, Horns!" tradition. However, that wasn't all from Stone.

"Can we all agree?" Stone said in a quote tweet.

It's safe to assume the Bradenton, FL. native will not be taking head coach Steve Sarkisian and defensive line coach Bo Davis up on the offer they extended to Stone on May 5, 2021.

Stone is a top-10 player and a top-five defensive lineman in the class of 2024 with a trio of crystal balls to Oklahoma and a pair to Michigan State.

The five-star defensive lineman from Oklahoma City is trending to become a Sooner, taking three unofficial visits to Norman, OK. Nov. 19, 2022, March 13, and April 22. He has an official visit scheduled for Friday.

If he commits to Oklahoma, he'll get a first-hand taste of the annual Red River Showdown against Texas.
