Longhorns Transfer Target Isaiah Bond Lands in Austin for Visit
AUSTIN -- Nick Saban's retirement is causing a massive ripple effect in the world of college football, and the Texas Longhorns have already found themselves involved.
Per college football insider Pete Thamel, Alabama Crimson Tide transfer receiver Isaiah Bond is already in Austin on Saturday for his weekend visit.
"Alabama WR Isaiah Bond is visiting Texas this weekend, per the A&P Agency. He just landed there," Thamel tweeted.
Bond has been a hot topic for Texas fans on social media over the past few days, and new Longhorns receiver and Houston transfer Matthew Golden got in on the fun. Shortly after it was reported that Bond would be entering the portal, Golden tweeted an emoji that was covering its face … whatever that means. Still, he appeared to be cryptic tweeting his reaction to the news.

This season, Bond posted 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns. In the loss to Texas, he tallied one catch for 34 yards.
Adding Bond to the fold would bring some proven talent to a Texas receiving room that’s losing some major NFL talent this offseason.
