The Longhorns hit fever pitch on the recruiting trail with a pair of huge commitments on Tuesday.

Texas not only beat out rival Texas A&M for the services of tight end Lake McRee, but also won a key recruiting battle in the Dallas area and shored up their pass rushing for years to come with linebacker-defensive end Prince Dobrah.

McRee is a teammate of current Texas quarterback commit Hudson Card and will bring immediate chemistry with what many consider to be the Longhorns signal caller of the future.

A 6-foot-4, 215-pounder, McRee will have to add bulk to play the position at the next level, but has plenty of space on his long frame to do so.

Dorbrah is not only a major-league high-ceiling defensive recruit, but also thought of as one of the highest character kids in the 2020 class.
