Texas Longhorns WR Xavier Worthy Shakes Off Apparent Injury, Returns Twice vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders
AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Longhorns receiver Xavier Worthy is giving fans a few mini heart attacks in Friday's meeting with the Texas Tech Raiders in Austin.
Worthy appeared to get re-injured as the second quarter came to a close. Texas led 26-7 at halftime. He was seen being helped to the locker room right before halftime unable to put any weight on his left leg. It was unclear if this was a re-aggravation from his prior injury scare, as he had gotten helped off earlier in the second quarter as well.
However, he returned for a second time in the game as the third quarter began. What appeared to be two serious injury scares was quickly a thing of the past.
During his first injury scare, Worthy was taken the medical tent on the Texas sideline shortly after having his legs taken out from underneath him while blocking. He had his arm around two medical trainers appearing unable to walk quickly without assistance.
A few plays prior, Worthy failed to score an easy touchdown after walking backwards out of bounds before getting a foot down in the end zone.

The Longhorns lead the Red Raiders 36-7 in the third quarter, as they'll look to close things out.
