There will be some major recruiting fireworks going off on July 4 as four-star safety Bryson Washington decides between Red River Rivals Oklahoma and Texas.

Washington - the No. 15 safety in the country - narrowed down his choice to the two schools earlier this year and announced an Independence Day decision date.

While 247 Sports experts seem to think that Washington will choose the Sooners  with an 80 percent crystal ball projection for Oklahoma, he recently indicated that his decision will come down to the last day.

Washington plays at C.E. King High School in the Houston area, which tends to be a stronghold for the Longhorns, especially among defensive players, when they are battling their rivals to the north.

We'll all have to wait to find out together, but you can bet Texas Longhorn Maven will be there with reactions and analysis of the big announcement.
