WATCH: Texas Longhorns Drop Gameday Trailer vs. Iowa State Cyclones

The Texas Longhorns face the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday in the final scheduled meeting between the two Big 12 rivals.

The Texas Longhorns will play their last true road game of the season on Saturday when they visit the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames.

The hype surrounding the final scheduled meeting between the two conference rivals was taken to another level earlier in the week when Iowa State offensive lineman Jarrod Hufford had some harsh words for Texas, saying that the players have "egos that need to be checked."

But when the Longhorns dropped the gameday trailer on Friday, it appeared that the social media team chose to avoid any subtle disses and instead focused on the task at hand.

Take a look:

Gameday trailers aside, Hufford's comments represented a classic case of headline domination and bulletin board material. Calling out a team like Texas will naturally draw some attention.

"They get all the 5-star recruits and have all the nicest stuff in the world and they just think they don't stink," Hufford said. "They're just humans and that's how I see them. They're people that have such a high ego that need to be checked."

"It's going to be one heck of a farewell present. They are going to come in here on senior night in the dark. I don't think they really know what is going to be coming for them. We've beaten them 4 out of the last 5 times at home. They don't have a good record here."

The Longhorns will look to make Hufford eat his words when Saturday's game kicks off at 7 p.m. CT.
