WATCH: Texas Longhorns RB Keilan Robinson Finds End Zone vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders
AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Longhorns running back Keilan Robinson is scoring touchdowns on senior night and helping his team get one step closer to the Big 12 title game in the process.
Robinson scored the first touchdown of the game in Friday's regular-season finale against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Austin. He took a backward pass from Quinn Ewers and ran in from 10 yards out to give the Longhorns a 7-0 lead.
After the pick, Texas Tech turned it over as Longhorns cornerback Malik Muhammad snagged an interception.
Here's a look at Robinson's score:
Funny enough, Robinson scored the first touchdown for Texas in last year's meeting with the Red Raiders. He got free for a 35-yard catch-and-run before finding the end zone.
He finished that game with two carries for nine yards and one catch for 35 yards, but the Longhorns lost a 37-34 heart-breaker in overtime.
Robinson also got busy in the 2021 matchup with Texas Tech. The Longhorns won 70-35, as Robinson posted four carries for 42 yards and a touchdown.

Texas coach Steve Sarkisian emphasized headed into this game that the Longhorns have to focus on what they can control.
That responsibility fell on the shoulders of Robinson early on in Friday's meeting with the Red Raiders.
"This year, leave no doubt. This is on us. We control our own destiny, said Sarkisian. "Let’s go handle our business we know we know how to do it. It’s a tall task. It’s going to be a tough game Friday but at the end, let’s not leave it up to somebody else. Let’s do it our way and the way I know we’re capable of doing.”
