Longhorns' Dylan Disu OUT vs. Baylor, Injury Update Revealed
Texas Longhorns forward Dylan Disu was already dealing with an illness ahead of Monday night's meeting with the Baylor Bears in Waco and was labeled a game-time decision.
But midway through the second half, the stomach bug became an afterthought.
Disu suffered what appeared to be a non-contact injury and was unable to put any weight on his left leg as he was helped back to the locker room.
ESPN's Kris Budden said on the TV broadcast that Disu is out for the rest of the game with a left knee sprain, but was still evaluated in the locker room before returning to the bench toward the end of the game. He finished the night with three points, one rebound and three assists.
Disu missed the first nine games of the season after recovering from offseason foot surgery. He suffered the injury during the NCAA Tournament last season and didn't play in Texas' Elite Eight loss to Miami.
This is a developing story.
