Hunter, Disu, Cunningham and Mitchell are the notable returners, while Bott, Perryman, Anamekwe and Clark will look to carve out more of a depth role this season. Clark didn't appear in a game last season.

Terry and staff acquired both some talented newcomers during the offseason. The veterans include Abmas, Horton, Onyema and Shedrick while the youngsters are Weaver, Pryor, Johnson and Prince, who is a walk-on.

Hunter and Abmas will be arguably one of college basketball's top guard duos this season. It only adds to the excitement that a bouncy athlete like Weaver will be coming off the bench behind them during his second collegiate season.

The frontcourt is very deep with Disu and Mitchell leading the way. However, the Longhorns will still need to get Disu and Shedrick back to 100 percent before the season in order to maximize the roster's talent.
