Longhorns vs. TCU Big 12 Tournament: Live In-Game Updates

The Texas Longhorns take on the TCU Horned Frogs in Kansas City on Friday night looking to secure a spot in the final of the Big 12 Tournament.

The Texas Longhorns will take on the TCU Horned Frogs at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on Friday night in the semis of the Big 12 Tournament.

The winner will take on either Kansas or Iowa State in the tournament final. The Jayhawks and Cyclones play in the earlier window on Friday at 6 p.m. CT.

The Longhorns took down the Oklahoma State Cowboys 61-47 in the Big 12 quarters on Thursday, making it three wins for Texas over the Pokes this season.

But the Horned Frogs, who beat Kansas State 80-67 in the quarterfinals on Thursday, will present a much tougher test. TCU and Texas split the season series 1-1, though it was the Frogs who looked like the better of the two teams in both meetings.

Texas had to overcome an 18-point deficit to top TCU 79-75 in Austin on Jan. 11. The Frogs then led by as many as 16 in a wire-to-wire 75-73 win over the Longhorns on March 1.

The Longhorns will need to avoid falling into a major hole early on if they want to clinch a spot in the final.

Live in-game updates will appear below at tip-off.
