No. 9 Longhorns vs. No. 22 TCU: Preview, Betting Odds & How to Watch
AUSTIN -- The No. 9 Texas Longhorns visit the No. 22 TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth on Wednesday looking to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time this season.
Texas (22-7 (11-5) fell 81-72 to the then-No. 9 Baylor Bears in Waco on Saturday, a loss that put a major dent in the Longhorns' chances at potentially getting a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
After playing TCU (19-10, 8-8), the Longhorns host Kansas on Saturday. Texas will need to win out in these final two games before heading into the Big 12 Tournament to have any chance at getting into contention for a No. 1 seed.
But the Frogs, who the Longhorns beat 79-75 on Jan. 11 despite trailing by as many as 18, will hardly make things easy on Texas. TCU went 2-5 in February but recently got talented guard Mike Miles Jr. back after a near month-long absence due to injury.
With three games now back under his belt after returning on Feb. 18, Miles Jr., who just had 24 points in a win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday, is warmed up and should give the Texas defense some understandable concern.
