AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas Longhorns blew past the Incarnate Word Cardinals in a 88-56 win at the Moody Center on Monday night.

The night was full of highlight plays from the entire team. Ithiel Horton, Dillon Mitchell, Kadin Shedrick and Ze'Rik Onyema all had dunks, as multiple transfer additions made a big impact.

But it was transfer guard Chendall Weaver who had arguably the highlight of the night. With the game already in hand with less than five minutes to play, Weaver flew in off a missed layup from Max Abmas and snagged the ball out of the air for a wild one-handed put-back dunk.

Weaver finished with seven points on 3 of 6 shooting to go along with three rebounds and one assist.

Take a look at the dunk:

Weaver, a transfer from UT-Arlington, has just one year of experience under his belt, but brings a ton of intrigue to the roster. Named the 2023 WAC Freshman of the Year, Weaver started in 25 of his 32 appearances as a freshman last season, averaging 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and two assists on 44.2 percent shooting.

His scoring averages don't tell the whole story though, as he reached double figures in seven of his last 10 games last season. This included a career-high 21-point effort against Sam Houston on Feb. 4, which began a six-game stretch of scoring at least 10 points.

The Longhorns take on Delaware State at home on Friday in the second game of the season.
