Texas Longhorns golf legends Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth will once again be teeing it up for the 88th Masters at Augusta National this week.

Spieth was the 2015 winner while Scheffler was the 2022 winner. Both are looking for their second green jacket and another win to their list of major championships. Spieth has collected three majors, the 2015 Masters, 2015 U.S. Open, and the 2017 Open Championship.

Scheffler is red-hot this season with two wins in the last three tournaments and a second-place finish in the other. Spieth has yet to win this year with a best finish of 3rd at The Sentry - the first tournament of the season in January. The Texan has a disqualification and two missed cuts in his last five efforts, with a T10 and T30 mixed in.

Scheffler is listed at 9/2 odds to win while Spieth comes in at 22-1 in an all-star field that includes LIV Golf Tour players mixed in with the PGA Tour faithful.

Scheffler is in uncharted territory with the shortest odds to win any major since Tiger Woods in 2013. Comparisons between Scheffler and Woods have rubbed some people the wrong way, but it's certainly warranted.

He arrives at Augusta National as the clear-cut No. 1 in the world and it's not close. The 2022 champion has yet to finish outside the top 20 in four prior Masters appearances.
