The Texas Longhorns athletics department announced the 11 former student-athletes who will be inducted into the university's Hall of Honor's class of 2023 Tuesday, according to a release.

Golfer Jordan Spieth, third baseman David Denny, wide receiver Quan Cosby, offensive tackle Jonathan Scott, swimmer Kris Kirchner and track and field runner James H. Means Jr. make up the 69th Men's Hall of Honor class. The 24th Women's Hall of Honor class is made up of former point guard Jamie Carey, swimmer Beth Barr, forward Dr. Kelly McDonald Freeman, track and field runner Susan Shurr and rower Gia Doonan.

The class of 2023 will be officially inducted into the Hall of Honor Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. CT in the LBJ Auditorium and Conference Center, and fans can attend for $25. The student-athletes will be honored on the field when the Longhorns play Wyoming Sept. 16.

Spieth is a three-time Professional Golfers' Association major champion, winning the 2015 Masters and U.S. Open and the 2017 Open Championship. Spieth was the No. 1-ranked golfer for 26 weeks in 2015 and now ranks as the 12th-best golfer in the world.

Cosby and Scott were both members of the Longhorns' 2005 football national championship team, going on to play four and seven years, respectively, in the NFL.

Barr was an Olympic silver medalist in 1988 at 16 years old before arriving on the Forty Acres and winning the 1991 individual 200-yard backstroke championship.

Carey owns the program's 3-point percentage record, knocking down 41.8 percent of her 462 career shots from downtown. She also was an integral member of Texas' 2003 Final Four run.
