So we stagger to the finish line, two games above. 500, coming off a 1-5 wipe out, with six conference championship games deciding our fate for the 2023 season.

Let the playoffs begin.

1. SEC Championship Game

Alabama plus 5.5 vs. Georgia

Which Crimson Tide team will show up. The force of the past several weeks or the team which lost to Texas at home and should have lost to Auburn last week.

Georgia is chasing history. Alabama still has Nick Saban and is getting points.

Can we have it both ways. Georgia to win but not cover?

Yes.

Georgia 24, Alabama 21

2. ACC Championship game

Louisville vs. FSU, O/U 48.5

Louisville is inconsistent, FSU is banged up, but fighting for survival. Don't know who is going to win, don't really care, because we're taking the Over in this last team with the ball contest

FSU 31.  Louisville 24

3. Big 12 Championship game

Texas minus 14.5 vs. Oklahoma State

Our "lock'' of the week. Texas wants to advance to the Sugar Bowl and a showdown with Georgia. Oklahoma State is lucky to be in the title game. Texas is much better, will build a big lead and then hold on.

Texas 35, Oklahoma State 20

4. Big Ten Championship game

Michigan vs. Iowa, O/U 35

Iowa cant score, but can hold the Michigan offense enough to make it competitive into the second half. The key  here is if Iowa can score a TD. We are thinking they get one late to cover the OVER.

Michigan 28, Iowa 10

5. Pac-12 Championship game

Washington plus 9.5 vs. Oregon

Huskies are unbeaten, with a narrow victory over Oregon on their resume, e but getting no respect. Oregon is regarded almost everyone as better team right now. That may be, but we don't think they are 9.5 points better. Oregon wins, but doesn't cover.

Oregon 31, Washington 25

6. AAC Championship game

Tulane vs. SMU,  O/U 47.5

Tulane, playing at home, should win, but  SMU has a lot of fire power. Take the Over.

Tulane 42, SMU 35

Last week: 1-5

Season to Date: 40-38
