UCLA Football: 4 Bruins Make PFF National Team Of The Week

The NCAA world at large has taken notice.

Sports analytics company Pro Football Focus listed four of your 4-1 UCLA Bruins among its sixth PFF National Team of the Week this year, for their efforts in a 25-17 upset win Saturday over the Washington State University Cougars.

Those players were defensive linemen Laiatu Latu and Gabriel Murphy and offensive lineman Spencer Holstege, a junior, and Duke Clemens, a senior.

Against WSU on Saturday, the 6'5", 265-pound Latu recorded three solo tackles and one forced fumble. On the year, the senior out of Sacramento has 10 solo tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception to his name through the Bruins' first five contests.

Murphy, a 6'3", 260-pound junior out of Dallas, notched a whopping four total tackles (three solo, one assisted) and a sack in the surprise victory over the Cougars.

Holstege and Clemens protected true freshman starting quarterback Dante Moore. Moore had a fairly lackluster game, passing for 240 yards (on 22-of-44 completions, with his longest being a 43-yard bomb), one touchdown, and two interceptions. The 6'3", 210-pound Detroit native logged a 31.4 quarterback rating and a 103.8 passer rating for his efforts against WSU.
