UCLA Football: PFF Analyst Gives Incredible Praise to Laiatu Latu Entering NFL Draft

UCLA Bruins star edge rusher Laiatu Latu is one of the better pass rushers in the 2024 draft class. He shined bright with the Bruins this past season, putting up 13 sacks over 12 games.

Latu has incredible speed off the line and uses it to his advantage when going up against slower offensive lineman. He is expected to be selected somewhere within the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft. Many mock drafts have seen him go anywhere between the top 10 and toward the back end of the first round.

Pro Football Focus's Steve Palazzolo gave massive praise to the Bruins' star edge rusher, calling him one of the better edge prospects in the last ten years. Many talented guys have entered the NFL, so these are high expectations being placed on the shoulders of Latu.

No matter who drafts Latu, they will be getting a player with a chip on his shoulder. There have been some concerns due to his injury history, but Latu has passed all needed tests during the NFL Combine.

He is determined to show what he can do on the field, giving his all each time out. Latu will provide a team with a talented edge rusher, who has an incredible knack for causing havoc in the backfield. He showed out with the Bruins over the last two seasons and is now ready to take on the challenge of playing in the NFL.
