The Bruins had a chance to make another leap, but a last second loss robbed them of an undefeated nonconference schedule and a few spots in the polls.

UCLA football (2-1) came in at No. 24 in the latest edition of the AP Poll on Sunday following all the Week 3 contests across the country. The Bruins fell 11 spots from No. 13 after getting upset by Fresno State 40-37 on Saturday night.

Fresno State now sits at No. 22, so a win over the Bulldogs could have vaulted the Bruins up another couple spots and potentially into the top 10.

The Bruins also fell from No. 13 to No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The rest of the Pac-12 had similar woes to UCLA, with Colorado, Arizona State, Arizona and Utah all losing as well.

Oregon and UCLA are the only ranked teams in the conference heading to Week 4, the first week of the Pac-12’s full intraconference schedule. The Ducks moved up one spot to No. 3 following their win over Stony Brook.

The Sun Devils’ loss came to a ranked BYU team that jumped from No. 23 to No. 15, and they fell out if the rankings for the first time this season as a result. The Buffaloes were shut out by Minnesota one week after nearly toppling then-No. 5 Texas A&M, and the Wildcats lost 21-19 to northern Arizona to fall to 0-3.

USC beat Washington State by 31 points and earned 16 points in the poll as a result. Arizona State and Stanford received votes as well.

Oregon is now the only undefeated team remaining in the Pac-12.

The full AP poll is as follows, complete with records and first-place votes:
