UCLA Football: How To Watch Bruins' First Pac-12 Matchup Of Season
Hot off their best victory of the 2023 season to date, your UCLA Bruins will be heading to Rice-Eccles Stadium to square off against the Utah Utes. It will mark their first Pac-12 inter-conference play of the year, during a bittersweet swan song season in the conference.
The Bruins have had something of a cupcake schedule thus far, having piled on the pain for opponents by an average of 29 points per contest.
Utah will represent UCLA's first (potential) real challenge. The Utes are actually ranked significantly higher (No. 11 vs. No. 22) than the Bruins in the latest Associated Press poll.
The Utes have won their matchups, against perhaps tougher collective opposition than the Bruins, by an average of 14.7 points per.
Their meeting in Salt Lake City will kick off at 12:30 p.m. PT, and is set to be broadcast on Fox.
The Utes have gone 114-36 in their home field since 1998, and 86-25 under head coach Kyle Whittingham. Utah has also won five of its last six contests against the Bruins, although to be fair that all predates the arrival of true freshman standout Dante Moore.
Utah has gone 15-3 in conference play across its past two seasons, the program's website reports.
