UCLA Football: Recent Bruins DT Makes Big Impact In NFL Club's Loss
Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa submitted another superlative individual performance against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday on the road.
It's hardly his fault the team still somehow lost, 28-16, against a club that, without its starting signal caller Kyler Murray, has looked like one of the NFL's worst at this stage of the 2023 NFL season.
As UCLA's official site notes, the 6'2", 280-pound former First-Team All-Pac-12 Bruin enjoyed another start for his pro franchise, while recording two tackles.
The 25-year-old defender was selected with the No. 75 pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft. Thus far this season, Odighizuwa has logged a total of eight tackles (five solo, three assisted) across his three games with the club, plus three sacks. He's also logging 2.5 stuffs per contest.
Tomorrow, the 3-1 Cowboys will face off against another flailing franchise, although this one does (perhaps unfortunately) have a fully healthy starting quarterback: the New England Patriots. The action is slated to tip off at 1:25 p.m. PT Sunday, if Bruins fans have interest in seeing one of UCLA's better defenders in recent years has fared at the next level.
