UCLA Drops Out of AP Top 25 After Season's First Loss

UCLA will now fight their way back to the Top 25
In this story:

After suffering their first loss of the 2023 season, your UCLA Bruins are now out of the Associated Press' poll ranking the top 25 college football programs in the nation, per On3:

The Bruins went from 22 to NR after making their season debut within the top 25 heading into Week 4.

That's due, no doubt, to the sad fact that UCLA suffered a tough 14-7 road loss to Pac-12 powerhouse Utah Utes. It was a defensive slugfest, and although the Bruins defense did its job, the offense was non-existent for most of the game.

Pac-12 play did not open as expected, but they'll look to bounce back and work their way into the Top 25 once again.

That will all start on October 7th with a tough matchup against the 16-ranked Washington State Cougars.
