The Bruins' defensive line is now getting thin.

In this story:

The UCLA Bruins will look like a new team heading into 2024 and the Big Ten Conference. This will be due to many players having entered the transfer portal, along with acquisitions from the portal as well.

However, it isn't just transferring players that will give this team a new look. Everyone already knows that Bruins superstar Laiatu Latu will be entering the NFL Draft, and he is likely to be one of the hottest prospects coming out of college.

Latu will not be the only defensive player on the Bruins line that will enter the draft.

Grayson and Gabriel Murphy have announced that they plan to also enter the NFL Draft.

Grayson Murphy ended his 2023 season with 23 solo tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.

Gabriel Murphy logged 22 solo tackles and 8 sacks of his own.

Though Latu will go in the first round, we could see the Murphy twins also being drafted in the top 3. It would be an amazing story for both brothers to end up on the same team, though that is unlikely to happen.

Either way, the Murphy twins and Latu exiting UCLA for the NFL will place the line without three starters. The Bruins can certainly boost their line back with transfer players, but losing the Murphy twins will make a significant dent.

We certainly wish the Murphy brothers on their NFL entrance.
