UCLA Football: Average Fan Attendance Surprisingly Good This Year
Your UCLA Bruins football program's season saw many ups and downs this year, and they finished the season on a low note. They lost to the Cal Golden Bears at home by a score of 33-7, in what was a frustrating end to the year.
UCLA finished with a record of 7-5 and stumbled down the stretch. They did take down their rival, the USC Trojans, which ended up being the highlight of the year.
Despite all the issues that the Bruins saw this past season, they still ended up with the second-best average attendance of the Chip Kelly era. UCLA fans always show up for their team, and this came without them facing USC at home as well.
The Bruins have a very loyal fanbase that is ready to support their squad each game. All they want is for their teams to show up and perform to the best of their abilities, and they will be satisfied.
Fans understand that UCLA isn't going to win each game, but when mistakes happen that aren't them performing their best, it can be frustrating. This past year was tough, in part because it started very well.
The team will now be heading into the offseason trying to figure out what went wrong. They will be preparing to enter the Big-10 next year, and things will be even tougher for them.
UCLA has the potential to become a real powerhouse in the conference if they play their cards right, but it won't be easy. It starts with this offseason, as they lay the groundwork for the future of the football program.
