UCLA Football: Bruins Aim to Exploit Weakness in Colorado's O-Line

UCLA's game against Colorado will be decided in the trenches
In this story:

Your UCLA Bruins are preparing to take on Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes this weekend in front of a sold-out Rose Bowl for Homecoming week.

UCLA comes in as a heavy favorite over the Buffaloes.

Part of the reason why the 23rd-ranked team in the nation is favored to win is because of its unit up front on defense.

The matchup of Colorado's O-line versus UCLA's D-line is a mismatch waiting to happen.

Throughout the season, Colorado has had one of the worst offensive lines in the country and UCLA has had one of the best defensive lines.

According to On3, UCLA is going to try to exploit this weakness all game long.

"Colorado’s offensive line has been one of the worst units in college football this year. That’s been no secret. They’ve allowed 35 sacks this season, ranking them 130th out of 132 qualifying teams. This weekend, they’ll have one of their toughest tests of the year as they go up against the UCLA Bruins’ defensive front. The Bruins’ defense has racked up 24 sacks in seven games, ranking them 10th in the country." (Via On3)

After a hot start to the season, Colorado has started to trend downward. Since the team's 3-0 start, the Buffaloes now sit at a record of 4-3.

UCLA is trending upwards as it dominated its last game against Stanford and continues to rank in the Top 25.

The Bruins will look to keep on building on its good season with another win

The matchup between the two teams fronts will be big in determining the winner of the game on Saturday.
