UCLA Football: Bruins Land Former Notre Dame DB Commit

The former Fighting Irish is back in California.

BOOM!

You know what that means, Bruin fans. Your Bruins landed a big-time defensive back via the transfer portal.

According to UCLA football's Twitter/X page, the Bruins have landed former Notre Dame defensive back Ramon Henderson.

After entering the transfer portal last month, Henderson announced he is transferring to UCLA. He will spend his final year of eligibility as a graduate student in Westwood.

The kid from Bakersfield, California, is back in his home state and will help lead the Bruins' defense to another great season on that side of the ball. Henderson is the third Fighting Irish to transfer to UCLA following the addition of wide receiver Rico Flories Jr. and defensive back K.J. Wallace.

In 2023, the senior defensive back recorded 14 total tackles, one interception, three passes defended, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 304 snaps this past season. Henderson committed to Notre Dame in 2019 as a three-star prospect. He was the number 679 player in 2020 and the 55th player in his home state.

This is a significant pickup for the Bruins. Welcome back to California!
