UCLA Football: Bruins Make Shocking Quarterback Change Ahead of Must Win Game vs Stanford
The UCLA Bruins are getting set for a must-win game against the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday night, and will have a new (old) quarterback calling the shots.
Chip Kelly and the Bruins are starting Ethan Garbers at quarterback, as true freshman Dante Moore is heading back to the bench.
Garbers started the first game of the year, and Moore came in during the game, and hasn't given up the job since.
However, as UCLA travels to Stanford to play the 2-4 Cardinal — a game they're favored to win by 17 points — it will be Garbers calling the shots for the Bruins.
It's definitely an interesting decision for UCLA, as an inferior Cardinal team could have been exactly what Moore needed to get back on track after the shaky start to his college career.
However, UCLA decided to go back to the junior Garbers, who will look to lead UCLA to their fifth win of the season.
Kickoff for Saturday's game is at 7:30 p.m. PT and it will be televised on ESPN.
