UCLA Football: Bruins Open as Strong Favorites in Week 9 vs. Colorado

The Bruins are heavy favorites at home against the Buffaloes

Your UCLA Bruins are coming off an incredible statement win over the Stanford Cardinal, 42-7. The Bruins dominated on all phases of the game, picking up their fifth win of the season.

It was a great win after a tough loss last week, and now, the Bruins will head back home to take on the Colorado Buffaloes for the last team as members of the Pac-12.

This will be the eighth game for the Bruins and their first time facing the new-look Buffaloes led by their superstar head coach, Deion Sanders. The Buffaloes may have the star power on their end, but the Bruins prove to be the better team thus far, which is why they open up as huge favorites, according to FanDuel.

 And as it currently stands,

FanDuel

has UCLA opening as a 17.5-point favorite over the Buffaloes in the matchup. The over/under is set at 63.5.

The game will take place at the Rose Bowl, and it will be the Bruins' homecoming game.

The Buffaloes are going into their Week 9 showdown off a bye and a much-needed one after blowing a 29-point lead to the same Cardinal team the Bruins blew out.

Nonetheless, it is a new week, and the Buffaloes have shown they are nothing like the team from previous seasons. It will be a tough, hard-fought matchup, and we cannot wait to see it.

We'll see if the Bruins can inch closer to their Pac-12 title aspirations by taking down the Buffaloes.
