Your 6-3 UCLA Bruins football team are preparing to face off against the  2-7 Arizona State Sun Devils tonight. The Bruins are no doubt well-aware know that they need to come out with a better effort than they showed in their last game. UCLA was dominated by the Arizona Wildcats last week in a 27-10 defeat, and it stopped any chance of them making much noise in the Pac-12 this season.

It was a disappointing loss all around, but the Bruins know that they are a better team than they showed. So, going against Arizona State, they understand that they need to be ready for anything. They took their opponent for granted last week. It came back to bite them.

Bruins head coach Chip Kelly knows that Arizona State has an unconventional style of offense, so they will need to be prepared for anything.

“They’re going to give you a lot of exotic looks, they’re going to attack you in all sorts of different ways,” Kelly said. “They run speed sweeps, they run unbalanced formations, they’re going to give you a lot of different things to make you kind of be off base a little bit.”

Per Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times

The Bruins defense will need to be on their toes throughout the entire game. It has been the identity of UCLA all season long, and they will be counting on their guys once again.

"Surrendering 294.3 yards per game leaves UCLA on pace for its best season in that category since giving up 273.8 in 1988. All those figures could improve Saturday considering that Arizona State managed just 83 yards of offense last weekend against Utah."

Per Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times

If they can make Arizona State unbalanced offensively, it would vastly help their chances of coming out with a win. They need this game to salvage their season, and we should be in for a fun matchup.
