UCLA Football: DeShaun Foster Open To Proposed Twitter Coaches' Challenge
The internet can be a wild place, especially when it comes to random posts that are shown on X (formerly Twitter). One such post was a compilation of college coaches that would win a race. One of the coaches on that list is UCLA Bruins HC DeShaun Foster.
These random lists are meant to invoke a certain response from those who see them. While it stands to reason that Foster might have never seen a post such as this, he not only saw it but decided to throw his hat in the ring of this proposed race.
The above list names 50 coaches, all from differing college football programs. Foster is near the top at #2, only bested by Dabo Swinney of Clemson. Instead of scoffing at the ridiculousness of the post, Foster welcomed the challenge.
The funny thing about this listicle is it does not state which kind of race the coaches would engage in. Is it a 40-yard dash? Is it the fastest mile? Whatever it is, Foster seems game to want to not retain his #2 spot, but he is gunning for the top spot.
Foster is a former collegiate and professional running back who we imagine still has the ability to showcase some elite speed. He might be 44 years years old, but he appears to still look in great shape.
We imagine he could challenge Coach Swinner for charity. Maybe this race should happen.
