UCLA Football: Next Week's Enemy Coach, Deion Sanders, Highly Motivated After Buffs Loss

UCLA can't take the Buffalos lightly.
In this story:

The UCLA Bruins are focused on playing Stanford this weekend on the road, but they probably can't help but look over their should to next week. They will be hosting the upstart Colorado Buffalos in what should be an entertaining Pac-12 showdown.

In the Buffaloes' last game, they blew a massive lead to Stanford, resulting in a 46-43 loss in overtime. It was a poor showing for Colorado, and now they are in their bye week with their sights set on UCLA next week.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders seems to be fired up for his team's next game. He wants his guys to get back to their roots, and this game against the Bruins is their next chance to do just that.

“What we just did today was pathetic,” Sanders said. “All the love that you received and all the love that we were receiving, oh you be getting ready to see that flip. And don’t get beside yourself on social media and start responding to the foolishness, because [the critics] are right. They’re right. … And we are practicing tomorrow [on Saturday].”

The Bruins will be at home for the matchup, but they will need to weather the storm of this Buffalos squad. They will be coming in desperate for a win, and they would love nothing more than to take down UCLA for a big road win.

UCLA will need to not take them for granted and understand that Colorado is more than capable of beating them. It's do-or-die for the Bruins each game now, and they can't afford any more slip-ups the rest of the way.
