UCLA Football Offers Class of 2024 Linebacker Blake Tabaracci

After hosting Tabaracci on an unofficial visit, the Bruins' staff has added another defensive prospect to their recruiting board.

One of the top uncommitted defensive prospects in the West has officially added an offer from the Bruins.

Class of 2024 linebacker Blake Tabaracci has earned an offer from UCLA football, the Park City High School (UT) product announced Monday afternoon on Twitter. Defensive back Davis Andrews – who is also a high school junior from Utah – joined Tabaracci for an unofficial visit to Westwood while in Los Angeles for the Rivals Camp Series.

Tabaracci has received additional offers from Arizona, BYU, Colorado, Michigan, Michigan State, Nevada, Oregon State, Stanford, USC, Utah and Washington State, making UCLA the 12th program to offer the 6-foot-2 recruit.

During Tabaracci’s high school career at Park City, he has shifted across positions on offense and defense. In 10 games during the 2022, Tabaracci accumulated 315 total yards and two touchdowns as a passer, rusher and receiver.

On defense, the Park City native tallied 43 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery playing primarily at linebacker.

According to 247Sports, Rivals, ESPN and On3, Tabaracci is a three-star prospect. The 247Sports Composite has Tabaracci listed as the No. 6 player in Utah, the No. 62 linebacker in the country and the No. 677 overall recruit in his class.

Tabaracci is the No. 1 linebacker in Utah.

D'Anton Lynn recently signed on to replace Bill McGovern as UCLA's defensive coordinator, while outside linebackers and special teams coach Ikaika Malloe added defensive line coaching duties as well. Inside linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr. is still on staff as well, giving the Bruins several coaches new and old who can help court Tabaracci.

UCLA has two commits for the class of 2024 so far, but neither are linebackers. The Bruins' two-man class of four-star defensive back Khristian Dunbar-Hawkins and three-star offensive tackle Joshua Glanz currently ranks No. 41 in the country and No. 4 in the Pac-12.

Tabaracci joins Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Dylan Williams, Brayden Platt and Isaiah Patterson as the fifth linebacker to be offered by the UCLA coaching staff. Last cycle, Norton was able to reel in commitments from four three-star linebackers.
