UCLA Football: Pasadena Police Investigating Mid-Game Robbery Of Colorado Players

Police are now investigating the matter.

The UCLA Bruins took on the Colorado Buffaloes in what turned out to be a stellar win for the Bruins. On top of the Buffaloes dealing with a loss, the team also had to deal with a mid-game robbery.

During the game, it was reported that many of the players in the Buffaloes locker room had items stolen right out of their lockers and bags while they were on the field.

A police investigation has been launched to determine who could have made their way into the locker room during the game and ran off with items from the Buffaloes players.

A production crew for Well Off Media, which is chronicling the Colorado Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders recorded many of the players talking about the items that were reportedly taken from them during the game.

One player revealed they had just purchased the chain, which was taken from the jewelry box he had in his bag. You can see a bit about the items being taken below:

This is truly not a great scene, as the players' items should be guaranteed safe while they are out on the field.

Pasadena Police are currently investigating the incident and are determining how anyone was able to even get in the locker room. Lisa Derderian, the spokeswoman for Pasadena Police, told Pat Graham of The Associated Press that:

"Still determining what was stolen and (the) value."

Derderian also revealed that part of the investigation will be to determine how anyone was able to get into the locker room to steal the items in the first place.

Hopefully, the stolen items can be recovered and returned to the players.
