UCLA has quite the interesting situation on their hands at the quarterback position and even though other college football programs may view it as a problem, the Bruins have been able to make the most of it.

That situation revolves around their depth at the position. UCLA isn't exactly scrambling to figure out who their official QB1 is nor are they stressed about who's playing backup. On one hand, you have Dante Moore who was the number four prospect coming out of high school according to 247 Sports and captured two state titles then. Moore got his first career start for the Bruins against San Diego State University and wasted no time as he led the team to a big win with 290 yards thrown along with three touchdowns.

However, head coach Chip Kelly is guaranteeing the freshman star nothing just yet. He likes the skillset that other Bruins QBs, Ethan Garbers and Collin Schlee, bring to the table and respects their experience as older players.

Despite the future for these three key contributors being up in the air this season, Moore confirmed that they always look out for one another and carry selfless spirits in the locker room.

“If I’m starting with the ones, (or) if Garbs is with the ones or Collin with the ones, we’re always going to uplift each other," said Moore. "If I make a mistake, they’re gonna correct me. If they make a mistake I correct them. I appreciate how we are as brothers and we never hate, anything like that. We always want to make certain that we always succeed.”

This is exactly what you want to see from a Bruins squad trying to shock the world this year!
