UCLA Football: Watch Former UCLA Wideout Scores Debut NFL Touchdown in Preseason
Your UCLA Bruins lost a ton of standout players from their 2022 season. One of those players who they lost in the draft is their 2022 WR1, Jake Bobo.
Bobo is now a member of the Seattle Seahawks after signing with the team following the 2023 NFL Draft as an undrafted rookie. The road hasn't been easy for Bobo post his collegiate career, but he's certainly making the most of it.
Bobo got his first shot at the pros yesterday as his Seahawks took on the Minnesota Vikings and made his mark by adding six to the board in a 19-yard TD catch.
The undrafted rookie had a solid performance racking up three receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown with an average of 18.3.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to finding the end zone as he collected 10 touchdowns in college, seven with the Bruins. Although he only spent one season in Westwood, he didn't disappoint.
He led the Bruins in catches with 57, had 817 receiving yards, and showed up in the biggest of games, like against Oregon, where he had eight catches for 101 yards en route to second-team all-conference by Pro Football Focus.
Bobo did his thing in college, and hopefully, he gets a chance to shine in the NFL, whether that's with Seattle or another team.
Wishing you the best, Bobo.
