UCLA Football: Westwood Campus Taking No Chances With USC Game On Horizon

Let rivalry week begin!

Next up for the UCLA Bruins is a matchup with their cross-town rivals, the USC Trojans, slated for 12:30 p.m. PT this coming Saturday. 

Both teams are coming into this matchup having lost two games in a row, so something will need to give here.

This content means more than just a win in the standings, as bragging rights are on the line. The Trojans narrowly took down the Bruins a year ago, so UCLA will be looking to claim their stake as the better of the two teams this season.

But with the Trojans game upcoming, UCLA isn’t taking any chances of a prank taking place. They have already started to cover up statues across campus in defense of any shenanigans taking place.

UCLA is already preparing for rivalry week against USC. The football game will take place at the Coliseum next Saturday.

Whenever a rivalry like this is played, opposing fans love to mess with each other for fun. We’ve seen it in the past before, so the Bruins are just trying to negate the issue before anything happens.

The game itself should be a good one, with both teams needing a win to salvage their seasons. USC will likely be favored in the matchup due to their high-powered offensive attack, but the Bruins come in with the better defense.

It will be a classic strong offense against strong defense game, and it’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top. The Bruins defense will be tested like they haven’t been this season, and they will need to be ready for the Trojans.

USC boasts one of the best quarterbacks in the country, Caleb Williams, and he can be a complete game-changer within a game. If they can neutralize him, or make life tough, the Bruins will give themselves a chance to steal this big game against their rivals.
