UCLA Makes History in The First Quarter, Fail to Do So In The First Half
The Bruins are on fire!
In this story:
The UCLA Bruins are up big at halftime against the North Carolina Central Eagles, 45-0.
The Bruins came out the gates hot, scoring 35 points in the first quarter, which broke a record for most points in a quarter since 1958.
UCLA wasted no time scoring 14 points in only two offensive plays and kept that momentum rolling throughout.
Their first quarter was historic; however, they failed to make history in the first half.
If they had scored more than 56 points in the first 30 minutes, they would've broken a record for UCLA Points in a half.
Still, I'm sure fans would take the 45-point lead at halftime over being down in the game.
There is a ton of game left, but it looks like it's UCLA's game to lose in the second half.
