WATCH: DeShaun Foster, Carson Steele Break Down UCLA's Backfield

After getting named associate head coach this offseason, Foster shared his thoughts on the new ball-carriers on the roster.

UCLA football running backs coach DeShaun Foster and running back Carson Steele spoke with reporters following Tuesday's spring practice session at the Wasserman Football Center.

Foster talked about the new additions to the backfield, how he would describe Steele's running style, TJ Harden's growth since the start of his freshman year, Keegan Jones' position status and what his new role as associate head coach entails.

Steele, meanwhile, shared the story behind his pet alligator, talked about how COVID-19 impacted his recruitment out of high school, broke down how he's adjusting to the Power Five level so far and spoke on the other running backs he's playing next to in Westwood.
