WATCH: Kamari Ramsey, Kodi Whitfield on Spring Camp, UCLA's DBs

The Bruins' new cornerbacks coach and one of their rising safeties broke down the team's secondary with practice winding down.

UCLA football cornerbacks coach Kodi Whitfield and safety Kamari Ramsey spoke with reporters following Wednesday morning's spring practice session at the Wasserman Football Center.

Ramsey talked about his first spring camp in Westwood, what it's like to go against a group of elite receivers in practice, how things have changed with the coaching staff shifting responsibilities and which teammates he learned from the most his freshman year. Whitfield talked about returning to UCLA after a brief stint at Sacramento State, the influences defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn has brought over from the Baltimore Ravens, his newfound appreciation for FCS football, the growth of Isaiah Newcombe and Jaxon Harley over the past year and how he uses spring to evaluate the in-house talent.
