Your UCLA Bruins were very actively represented in this year's NBA Summer League. One player with a somewhat tenuous future is big man Moses Brown.

The 7'2" big man out of Archbishop Molloy in New York spent the 2018-19 season with your Bruins, during which he was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, before he declared for the NBA draft. In his 32 NCAA contests (31 starts), Brown averaged 9.7 points on 60.7% shooting, 8.3 rebounds and a whopping 1.9 blocks per bout.

Brown went unselected in that year's draft, and has since bounced around across a variety of NBA and NBA G League clubs. The 23-year-old has appeared in 128 games (including 39 starts) for the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets.

He also suited up for four NBAGL franchises: the Texas Legends (twice), Oklahoma City Blue, Ontario Clippers and Westchester Knicks.

Though he boasts modest NBA averages of 5.5 points on 57.1% shooting from the floor, 5.2 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game, Brown has had a far more impressive run in the G League. Cumulatively, the big man logged averages of 15.5 points on 59.9% shooting from the field, 10.1 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks a night across his 50 games playing for the NBAGL. He was named to the All-NBA G League First Team and the NBA G League All-Defensive Team while with the Oklahoma City Blue in 2021.

Playing for the Toronto Raptors in this season's past Summer League, Brown logged averages of 10.2 points on 68% shooting from the floor and 7.0 boards across five games, all starts. He scored in double digits in three of the five contests. His defensive acumen has yet to meaningfully translate at the next level, but his size could convince a team to at least take another flyer on him next year.
