Playing against fellow top class of 2025 prospect Cameron Boozer, son of two-time All-Star power forward Carlos, 6'8" small forward Cooper Flagg showed out in a terrific performance at Nike's elite AAU showcase, the Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina.

Flagg, a potential target for your UCLA Bruins, impressed a variety of NBA scouts and college coaches, writes Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports.

He averaged 25.4 points, 13 boards, 6.9 blocks (!), and 5.7 dimes in the tournament. Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James commended Flagg personally following Flagg's terrific play on Friday.

Peek writes that Flagg is the best rim protector, of any grade, currently in high school, and his multifaceted defense is already blowing minds.

"Cooper has a two-way skill set and is the best versatile defender in high school basketball," an NBA scout told Peek. "They both [Flagg and Boozer] have a floor of a starting-level player in the NBA with the chance of developing into all-league players with longevity."

Beyond UCLA, Cooper is fielding NCAA offers from Duke, Michigan, Connecticut, Iowa, Kansas State, West Virginia and Villanova. His twin brother, 6'7" wing Ace, also enjoyed a solid run at Peach Jam. He had just two offers, from Maine and West Virginia, prior to the tournament, but Peek believes he could become more sought-after following his stint this past week.
