Recent Lottery Pick Plans to Attend UCLA Summer Basketball Pickup Games
The best time of the year is here folks... or at least one of them. Rico Hines is back at it again so he is holding his legendary summer pickup games at UCLA and already inviting some of the NBA's brightest stars. Just last year, we saw Jaime Jaquez and Amari Bailey come through with other Bruins teammates to get ready for the new season and hopefully more newcomers follow in their footsteps this time around.
Even if you are not familiar with Rico Hines runs, you have likely seen plenty of viral highlights on social media that took place in the infamous gym. At this point in time, the best players know that Hines has built a respectable and competitive environment to get better in the offseason.
And on a recent appearance on the 'All The Smoke' podcast, recent lottery pick Chet Homgren confirmed that he plans to attend as many pickup games as possible in the next few weeks and Rico Hines' will be on that list.
"I go from the weight room to the court," said Holmgren. "I'm planning to play two to three days a week out at LA this year."
"You'll be up at UCLA?" asked host Matt Barnes.
"Yeah like I said, wherever the runs are at," said Holmgren. "I can't overdo it again. At the end of the day, I gotta make sure I'm on the court for real games. But I still gotta work on my s**t so I'm gonna try and sharpen the knives."

Holmgren already put on a clinic in his second straight summer league with the Oklahoma City Thunder and he's getting ready for his official rookie campaign after he missed the entire first season with an ankle injury.
Keep an eye out for Chet at the Rico Hines runs!
