The UCLA Bruins ended their season after a quarterfinal loss to Oregon. The one-basket score was a heartbreaker, and will now lead to the team looking towards building for the future.

Despite having Lazar Stefanovic, Will McClendon, and Sebastian Mack, the team lacks other dependable shooters. Enter Andrej Stojaković. Stojaković has just entered the transfer portal and could be a target for UCLA.

Stojaković averaged 7.8 PPG as a freshman and shows plenty of promise. Head coach Mick Cronin is likely to return, and one of his biggest gripes in the 2023 season was his players not attempting to score the ball every chance they got.

Freshman Aday Mara fell out of favor with Cronin after he lacked the confidence to attempt to score in the post.

With the potential that star sophomore Adem Bona could enter the NBA Draft, the team will need an additional proven shooter. Stojaković could fill that role.

The Bruins need a jumpstart to their offensive output, and this young freshman could provide that spark should Cronin attempt to lure Stojaković to Southern California.
