UCLA men's basketball guards Dylan Andrews and Sebastian Mack were the club's high scorers and the propulsive offensive forces behind its second-half comeback against the Lafayette Leopards on Friday night.

Both scored 18 points, Andrews on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor (3-of-5 from deep) and 1-of-2 shooting from the foul line, and Mack, a freshman, on 4-of-11 shooting from the field (1-of-4 from deep) and 9-of-12 shooting from the charity stripe.

Postgame, Bruins head coach Mick Cronin noted that both players were given lots of chances to shoot long jumpers by Lafayette defenders, per UCLA Communications.

“They got plenty of opportunities; they were going under all their screens and just giving them shots. I think it was the right thing to do if you’re them (Lafayette)," Cronin opined. "Just pack it in and hope for the best. It’s what gave them a chance because we missed a lot of open shots to start the game. Every game is different. Tonight, they were going to pack it in, somebody’s got to knock some shots in. But I think we got in transition. I would say that’s what helped our offense. We got some steals finally, got in transition, got some layups.”
