UCLA Basketball: Bruins Top Rival Schools in Total Hall of Fame Products

They've had quite the talented rosters during their school's history!

It is well-known by now just how extreme the talent levels increase at each different stage of basketball. The best players from the high school scene that broke records and were named MVP's of their respective leagues struggle to even score ten points per game once they get to college. Part of this is due to the style being much different and more team-oriented but at the end of the day, most players who are competing at the division one level all were 'the guy' on their high school squads.

Then you take a look at the select few guys that actually do make the leap from college to the NBA and it's an even smaller pool. With social media shining a light on the game more than ever, fans realize just how talented even NBA role players are when they get the opportunity to face 'normal' talent during summer pick up games or Pro-AM runs.

Therefore, this makes the UCLA Bruins touting a number of seven Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame products that much more impressive across both their men's and women's programs. NCAA's Spencer Parlier recently tallied up the universities that have produced the most HOF talent and behind UCLA, the likes of Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio State, USC and more all popped up next.

So many generational names made their way through Westwood such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Ann Meyers, Bill Walton and their impact on the sport of basketball holds strong today.

Former Bruins remain in the NBA as well that have compelling HOF cases as well such as Russell Westbrook, who became just the second player ever to average a triple-double in a season, and Kevin Love, who helped modernize the definition of a big man and also was a part of the legendary 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers championship.

We hope to see this number only grow from here!
