It's a pretty wild time to be following college basketball right now seeing just how many teams are changing conferences in the near future. The Pac-12 is losing university after university and we all remember a few months ago when it was announced that UCLA would officially be making way to the Big Ten conference following the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season.

The Bruins are among the most respected and successful collegiate basketball programs of all time and they will start a new beginning next year. New opponents will be on their calendar each and as head coach Mick Cronin looks to secure his first national championship with the school, this will be his final time trying against a slew of Pac-12 squads.

However, when looking ahead to all of the schools that will be making big changes soon, CBS Sports' Cameron Salerno believes that the Bruins are the most-prepared program entering the Big Ten Conference.

"During the last three seasons, UCLA has reached the Sweet 16 twice and the Final Four once in 2021, when they lost to Gonzaga on an iconic buzzer-beater by Jalen Suggs. UCLA's recruiting efforts under Cronin have also been very impactful. UCLA signed a top-20 class in the last two recruiting cycles and already has a commitment from one of the top players in the 2024 class in Eric Freeny. UCLA will be the team most prepared for the jump to the Big Ten because of its prestige and recent success."

We'll first have to focus on this current group and season and see how everything but plays out but we know that very exciting times await with this conference change!
