Even though fans of the UCLA Bruins will have their hands full with a whole new recruiting class kicking off their freshman seasons this year along with a number of key returners running it back, we cannot help but take a look to next, next season where UCLA will be playing in the Big Ten conference.

And UCLA always makes sure to plan ahead for their future and ensure that if a top prospect is undecided on their collegiate future, they are usually in the mix. This is no different with a four-star elite scoring forward out of Texas by the name of Austin Greer. Standing at 6'7, Greer has already showcased the ability to score from all three levels when necessary but prefers to attack the rim and use his length and athleticism to finish at the rim.

The Bruins have already extended an offer to Greer, who will be entering his senior season this year, and in a conversation with 247 Sports about the possibility of him continuing his basketball career at Westwood, he highlighted what he likes about the program.

"I talk to

Darren Savino

,

Mick Cronin

, and

Nate Georgeton

. I like the way they use their wings. They get downhill and the majority of the time their top scorers play at that position. I like how they get them involved in the offense." Greer says his goal is to be committed to a program before his senior year of high school. He added that his plan is for his dad and him to play everything by ear to see where the recruiting process takes them."

Therefore, we should definitely be keeping an eye out for any official commitment from Greer in the coming months and do not be surprised if he ends up rolling with UCLA.
