Your UCLA Bruins are loaded with international prospects.

From projected lottery pick Aday Mara, a 7’3” Spanish center who’s had a bumpy start to his freshman campaign, to the team’s current best player, Nigerian-Turkish power forward Adem Bona, Mick Cronin’s 2023-24 team boasts a distinctly jet-setting elegance.

The team could be looking to add even more pieces with an international flavor.

Travis Branham of Bruin Report Online reveals that 6’4” senior guard Daniil Glazkov, a native Russian plying his trade for the IMG Academy Post Grad team stateside, is being considered by Cronin and co. for their 2024-25 freshman class.

Branham reveals that Glazkov currently just has offers from Loyola and Oregon State, but indicates that UCLA, UConn, Gonzaga, Xavier, Georgetown, and DePaul all reportedly have interest in acquiring his services.

"I think I am at my best finding my teammates, get the ball in the right spots and finish the plays," Glazkov said of his skillset. "I can do everything on the court."

"I think I deserve to play on the highest level like in the best conference to show what I can do," he added, per Branham. "I know my level right now."
