When we think back to some of the most iconic and successful high school teams of all time, squads such as Montverde Academy featuring Cade Cunningham and Scottie Barnes and Sierra Canyon boasting Cassius Stanley and Kenyon Martin Jr. instantly come to mind.

However, Chino Hills High School made their mark on the basketball scene due to them being a public school and led by three brothers to a state championship and undefeated record back in 2016.

This is when everybody was introduced to future UCLA Bruins point guard Lonzo Ball and through a number of mixtapes, insane stat lines and viral clips off the court, he became one of the biggest names in the sport. In an electric senior season, the 6'6 guard posted 24 points, 11 boards, 11 assists and five steals and made history with younger brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo.

Ball, now 25-years-old and in the midst of injury recovery as a member of the Chicago Bulls, recently joined Trae Young on his 'From The Point' podcast and broke down what the hype was like during his peak high school days.

"My senior year was like a movie," said Ball. "My other brother came, Melo, that was a lot of fun. We had to move arenas to go to bigger places just because everything was sold out. People were like scoping tickets for hundreds of dollars to go see high school kids so it was pretty wild."

Unfortunately, Ball has not been in the news much lately for other than things pertaining to his knee surgeries so it's great to hear about his legendary high school squad from his perspective.

Ball had the Bruins playing at a very entertaining pace during his time with UCLA and he will always have the support of the community!
