UCLA Basketball: Massive Alumni Reunion Planned For Bruins' Regular Season Finale
The UCLA men's basketball team has had a very disappointing season so far. They've been incredibly inconsistent, and it has led to one of their worst years in a long time.
As they enter the final two games of the regular season, UCLA will need to win both just to get themselves to over a .500 record on the year. It won't be easy, especially having to play against top-ranked Arizona on Thursday evening.
But the Bruins are welcoming the challenge ahead of them. They will also be hosting around 100 former players on Saturday during their game against Arizona State. It will be an alumni reunion at halftime, so UCLA will want to show out in the game.

If anything, the Bruins can show the alumni that there is hope for the future. Playing against Arizona State will be a good test for them to close out the season, and maybe they can end the year on a high note.
It's been a grueling year all around for the Bruins, and one that head coach Mick Cronin knows is just the reality of where the program is right now.
“They’ve done the best they can do,” said Cronin, whose Bruins (14-15 overall, 9-9 Pac-12) must beat No. 5 Arizona on Thursday and Arizona State on Saturday to assure themselves of at least a .500 record by season’s end. “It’s just reality. We got stuck in a rebuilding year, we tried to overcome it with our recruiting and it’s the way it is.”

The Bruins will do what they can over the final two games, and then see what happens in the Pac-12 Tournament. A strong showing there could save them in terms of the NCAA Tournament, but it won't be easy.
