UCLA has hosted some great names on the hardwood in the 15 years and such talent has only been enhanced while these Bruins have moved onto their NBA careers.

In a recent top 25 list compiling the best names from Blue Blood schools, the Bruins were represented with three names that have gone on to have substantial NBA careers.

At no. 3 in a list from CBS Sports, Russell Westbrook's career from his humble beginnings at UCLA were recognized.

In his first season without KD, Westbrook averaged a triple-double (31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists). Westbrook earned MVP honors that season and to this day is one of the best individual seasons in NBA history. Westbrook recently re-signed with the

this offseason and will look to help them make a title push.

Westbrook's had a rocky homecoming since a trade sent him to the Lakers from Washington, but he has found a home with the Clippers, enough to take the biggest seasonal pay cut in league history just to stay.

Next on the list was former forward and teammate of Westbrook in Kevin Love who ranked at no. 6 of 25 by CBS Sports.

Before Love was traded to Cleveland during the 2014 offseason, he was one of the best big men in the NBA. His best individual season came during the 2013-14 season when he averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

Love's contributions as a third option to an improbable Cleveland championship can't be ignored as his on ball pressure on Steph Curry will be played back by NBA fans for generations.

Finally, Jrue Holiday appeared at no. 19 of 25 in the best of the Blue Bloods list for his career's work.

The

Bucks

went all-in during the 2020 offseason and traded for Holiday after he spent seven seasons with the Pelicans. The gamble paid off big time and Holiday joined a "Big 3" in Milwaukee with Antetokounmpo and

Khris Middleton

that won the NBA title in 2021. Holiday is one of the best two-way players in the league and is considered one of the best on-ball defenders at the guard position.

s

In his first season for Milwaukee, Holiday proved to be the Bucks missing piece after hounding both Devin Booker and Chris Paul en route to the city's first NBA title since the days of Kareem and Oscar.

The three all-stars have long been staples in the league and it's good to see some former Bruin alumni shine so bright after so long.
